TNT Airways today launched a service from its base in Liege, Belgium to Hong Kong.
The thrice-weekly non-stop service operates from Liege to Hong Kong using a TNT Boeing 747-400 freighter, says a spokeswoman for TNT.
She says this new service starting today complements TNT's existing service from Liege to Shanghai via Singapore.
"With its geographical and economic proximity to the Pearl River Delta and its central location in Asia, Hong Kong is a natural choice as a hub for serving customers in the south of China" as well as Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines and Taiwan, says the express courier company.
