AIR NEW ZEALAND A long-running labour dispute with Airbus A320 cabin crews looks to be over, following a new collective employment agreement between the carrier's Zeal 320 subsidiary and the Engineering, Printing & Manufacturing Union, which represents Zeal cabin crew. The Zeal crew members have been demanding that their wages and conditions be put on par with A320 cabin crew employed directly by the airline.

ALLEGIANT AIR The carrier is to end its Boeing MD-80 Miami to Cuba charter operation, which it started in June after US President Barack Obama eased travel restrictions between the USA and the Caribbean island in June. But chief executive Maurice Gallagher says: "While our Cuba flying has been and continues to be profitable, these programmes are exposing the airline and its people to operational complexity inconsistent with our operating philosophy."
