Malaysian low-cost carrier AirAsia has firmed up plans to launch scheduled services from Kuala Lumpur to three more Indian destinations.
It will begin services to Kochi on 12 November, to Trivandrum on 16 November and Kolkata on 19 November, says the carrier. These services will be daily and use Airbus A320s, it adds.
AirAsia already operates on the Kuala Lumpur-Tiruchirappalli route.
No other carriers operate between Kuala Lumpur and Kochi, Kolkata and Trivandrum, according to Innovata.
The airline said earlier this month that it was planning to launch services to these three cities in the fourth quarter of this year.
