Israeli unmanned air vehicle manufacturer Innocon is offering a UAV based on a motor glider that it calls Falcon Eye.
The company has already sold two Falcon Eyes, but declines to name the client, although sources say it is an African state.
The Falcon Eye has a maximum take-off mass of 900kg (1,980lb), can carry a 150kg payload and has an endurance of 24h. It is powered by a Rotax 212S engine and can reach 20,000ft (6,100m) altitude. For higher altitudes, the Falcon Eye can use the Rotax 214 engine.
Innocon says the company's flight- control system is used by Falcon Eye and that this is a "very attractive cost-effective solution for long-endurance unmanned missions".
