Viking Aircraft has appointed Murrieta, California-based R W Martin as its second factory endorsed service centre for the de Havilland Twin Otter Series 400 and Dash 7 turboprop-powered aircraft. The deal comes four months after Switzerland's Altenrhein Aviation became the first approved maintenance and support facility for the Series 400, which is scheduled to enter service early next year.

Farnborough International Airshow is at NBAA to promote next year's event, which takes place from 19-25 July. The organisers are re-evaluating aspects of the show, with an emphasis on enhancing and increasing networking and meeting opportunities for the business aviation community improving site services and expanding the "hard-standing space" of the business aircraft park, in line with feedback from exhibitors, particularly the business aviation sector, says FIA exhibitions and events director Amanda Stainer.
