Honda Aircraft has become the second manufacturer after Piper Aircraft to select the new Garmin G3000. The HondaJet will be outfitted with the new integrated touchscreen-controlled flightdeck when it enters service at the end of 2011. Honda, which has its proof-of-concept aircraft on display at NBAA, plans to fly the first conforming HondaJet early next year. Cirrus also has selected Garmin for its SF50 Vision but chief executive Brent Wouters says it will not have decide until much later on which specific Garmin avionics suite to use.
