Singapore has concluded separate open skies agreements with Bulgaria and Lithuania.

Under the bilateral deal with Bulgaria, the airlines from both countries can operate flights between and beyond the countries, as well as via intermediate points. There are no restrictions on capacity, frequency and aircraft type, says Singapore's transport ministry.

The deal with Lithuania allows carriers from both countries the flexibility to operate any number of passenger and cargo flights between them, as well as to points beyond them. "The traffic rights exchanged under the agreement also allow carriers of both countries to tap on traffic from third countries to improve the viability of scheduled flights," says the ministry.

Both agreements will help to boost traffic between the countries, and between the Asia Pacific region and the European Union, it adds.
