RIZON EXPANSION

Middle East and UK-based business aircraft charter and management company Rizon says it is working toward a February 2010 completion on its $16 million 13,000m2 (140,000ft2) hangar, fixed-base operation VIP terminal at London Biggin Hill airport. Established two and a half years ago, Rizon has been slowly building its mostly third-party owned fleet, the majority of which is available for charter. This month it will take delivery of a second Hawker 900XP midsize business jet that will be joined in December by a large-cabin Bombardier Challenger 605. The addition will boost Rizon's fleet to six aircraft - five in Doha and one in London.

ONE IN A MILLION

Million Air has purchased one of Signature Flight Support's two fixed-base operations at Indianapolis International airport. After Signature bought seven FBOs from Hawker Beechcraft last year, the US Department of Justice issued a consent decree requiring the FBO chain to divest itself of one of its two facilities at Indianapolis. The new Million Air at Indianapolis includes 5,295m2 (57,000ft2) of FBO and hangar space, and Million Air is planning to expand the facility early next year.

ACJ VIP

In an effort to continue to meet the broadening needs of its corporate and head-of-state customers, Airbus Corporate Jet Centre in Toulouse has unveiled its VIP Pass package of specialised services for the ACJ family of aircraft. The VIP Pass is designed to offer tailor-made services including cabin upgrades and refurbishment, maintenance engineering support, cabin and airframe spares and full engine support, says the company.

PRICE DROP

Sierra Industries has cut the price of its Williams International FJ44 re-engining modifications for the Citation I, II and SII business jets by more than $100,000 for modification positions for 2010.
