Tiger Airways' Australian outfit is launching services in late March from its Melbourne base to Brisbane.
The Melbourne-Brisbane services start on 28 March and there will be 19 flights per week, says the airline.
Its announcement today comes after the carrier recently disclosed that it will be launching services on 15 December on the Sydney-Gold Coast route.
Tiger operates Airbus A320s. It will be competing on the Melbourne-Brisbane route against Qantas Airways and Virgin Blue, according to Innovata.
