China Eastern Airlines plans to resume two routes to Hong Kong.
It will resume its once-daily Jinan-Hong Kong service from 20 December and its once-daily Hangzhou-Hong Kong route from 23 December.
The Jinan-Hong Kong service will be operated on an Airbus A319 while the Hangzhou-Hong Kong route will use an Airbus A320, says an airline spokeswoman.
The carrier will be the only one to fly between Jinan and Hong Kong, according to Innovata.
It will compete on the Hangzhou-Hong Kong route with Hong Kong carriers Dragonair and Hong Kong Airlines.
