COMLUX MILESTONE

Swiss aircraft management and charter firm Comlux has ordered a third A319 Airbus Corporate Jetliner and secured its position as the largest operator of Airbus business jets, with 10 aircraft in service and on order including four A318s, three Airbus ACJs, two A320 Prestiges and one A330-200 Prestige.


AVRO SALE

Inflite Engineering Services has purchased a BAE Systems Avro Business Jet and has teamed with UK design firm Linley to offer customised interiors for ABJs. UK-based Inflite, which has converted several Avros from commercial aircraft to business jets in recent years, has purchased a 146-100 and will speculatively convert the aircraft for onward sale. BAE says the aircraft is being delivered immediately.


CITATION X WINGLETS

Cessna has delivered the first Citation X business jet retrofitted with Winglet Technology's elliptical winglets to Wallan Aviation of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The modification cuts drag to reduce fuel consumption, while also boosting speed and range, says the airframer.
