* Raytheon is to produce 434 AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles, including 223 for Canada and Poland under a $200 million US Air Force contract.

* The Royal New Zealand Air Force has awarded L-3 Communications' Spar Aerospace subsidiary more than $100 million to conduct a service life-extension to its five Lockheed Martin C-130H transports.

* Boeing is to remanufacture six more AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopters for delivery in 2007 under a $29.5 million US Army contract.

* Textron Systems will provide 341 Sensor Fuzed Weapons, including munitions for Oman, under a $116 million US Air Force contract.

* BAESystems has received a £25 million ($48.4 million) contract to support the UK Royal Air Force's Panavia Tornado F3 air defence fighters. The work will include integration of Raytheon's AIM-120C5 AMRAAMair-to-air missile.

* Under an $8.6 million contract, Rockwell Collins will supply 110 ARC-210 Have Quick anti-jam radios for Canada's Sikorsky CH-148 Cyclone maritime surveillance helicopters and 40 for Australia's Boeing Wedgetail airborne early warning and control aircraft.

* Saab is to develop and manufacture the crew entrance door for the Airbus Military A400M transport under a deal worth a potential $59 million. The UK's Marshall Aerospace has meanwhile been selected to conduct flight trials of the A400M's Europrop International TP400-D6 engine from mid-2006 using a Lockheed Martin C-130.

* Northrop Grumman is to supply 40 Boeing F/A-18 Hornet centre-barrel replacement kits to the US Navy and 11 to Australia.

* Ball Aerospace is to develop a new Pave Penny laser spot tracker for US Air Force Fairchild A-10s.

* Lockheed Martin is to provide F-16 maintenance training for Poland under a $10 million contract.

* India's Aeronautical Development Agency will deliver up to 12 Nishant unmanned air vehicles to the Indian army from late 2006.
