The undisclosed customer that placed orders for two Boeing 747-8 Freighters and a 777F in July is understood to be Guggenheim Aviation Partners.
The US leasing company ordered four 747-8Fs and three 777Fs last year. The deals included options for two 747-8Fs and one 777F.

Industry sources say Guggenheim has exercised its options, boosting its orders to six 747-8Fs and four 777Fs.
Guggenheim declines to comment on the status of its Boeing orderbook.
