Flightblogger: Boeing to delay roll-out of 747-8F

Boeing is delaying the roll-out of the 747-8 Freighter by three months to mid-February 2009, says Flightblogger, the newest addition to Flight's growing blog portfolio.

Flightblogger's latest blog post says that the delay is to enable Boeing to complete assembly of all remaining 747-400Fs on firm order before making the switchover to the new model. Boeing says the first 747-8F will still be delivered to Cargolux on schedule, in October 2009.

Flightglobal.com announced on 6 November that we are teaming up Flightblogger, one of the world's leading aviation blogs.
