Airbus has received a firm order for the corporate version of its A350 XWB from an unnamed Asian customer. The aircraft will be managed by BAA Jet Management and based in Hong Kong. A cabin-outfitter has yet to be selected. CJet of Hong Kong had become the first A350 XWB Prestige customer last November when it signed a commitment for the widebody airliner at the Dubai Air Show. The company is expected to convert this position into an order in the coming week. The A350-900, which has a green price tag of $230 million, is powered by Rolls-Royce Trent XWB87 engines.
Firm airline orders for the Airbus A350XWB total 300, from customers including Emirates and Singapore Airlines.
