Russian carrier Vladivostok Avia has secured European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) approval to perform maintenance on Airbus narrowbody family aircraft.
The EASA Part 145 certificate covers maintenance, up to C-check, on A320-family jets with CFM International CFM56 engines at the carrier’s Vladivostok base.
Vladivostok Avia says its maintenance operation was cleared following an inspection by French authorities earlier this year.
The carrier has three A320s in its fleet and is preparing to lease another three of the type.
Vladivostok Avia has also underlined its intention to acquire Airbus A330-300 aircraft to open more long-haul routes in spring next year.
