Emirates Airline has taken delivery of its second Airbus A380 for use on its Dubai-New York route starting on 27 October.
The A380 will join Emirates' existing ultra-large Airbus variant also serving New York JFK, increasing the frequency of A380-operated flights to the US city to daily. Emirates currently operates two Boeing 777-300ER daily rotations to New York.
Emirates has 56 more A380 machines on order, of which two more are slated for delivery by the end of 2008.
