Airliner net orders came in at 101 in November as 107 new orders were offset by six cancellations.

Etihad placed orders for 25 A350, 20 A320 and six A380 aircraft. Elsewhere, BOC Aviation ordered 11 A320s and nine A319s, while Air Arabia ordered 10 A320s. India’s Air Deccan cancelled three A320s and Spanish leisure carrier Futura International Airways three 737s.

Airbus dominated November winning 84 new orders (before cancellations), while Bombardier counted eight, Boeing six and Embraer three. China’s ACAC consortium also had five orders for the ARJ21 and RUAG one for the new Dornier 228.

Net narrowbody orders totalled 55 for the month, led by 44 A320s. Widebody net orders came in at 35, while a total of 17 were placed for regional aircraft.

Overall, the order backlog ended November at 8,570, up 22 on the previous month.
