Flight International issue 15-21 April

As protesters follow the path of the Olympic torch so spotters have been following the contrails of the Air China A330 which was used to transport it. Flightglobal.com has an image of the aircraft seen at London’s Heathrow.

See more images of the Lufthansa Boeing 737 that was struck by lightning plus an image of Monarch’s air stewardesses dressed up in the garb worn in 1968 as the airline celebrated its 40th birthday recently. And there’s also an image of the first ever Airbus A320 to be assembled in Germany. Usually the aircraft is built in France.

Why not join in any one of the discussion on AirSpace’s forums. One thread attracting a lot of opinion comes from the announcement that the 787 is suffering further delays.

Flightglobal.com hosts two games including the Take-off Challenge and the topical Terminal 5 chaos where you can help “Wee Willie Walsh” solve the baggage crisis.

And why not nominate your favourite engine, aircraft, person or moment in aviation as we celebrate 100 years of publishing in the 100 Greatest area in AirSpace.
