Flight International Issue 17 - 23

AirSpace is hosting a gallery of images from the Air Sudan crash that occurred in Khartoum last week and of course Flightglobal.com has a video plus all the latest news as investigators discover the cause of the crash.

A photograph of a Spitfire and a Mustang flying too close for comfort caused a stir in the AirSpace forums where users have been hotly debating whether it was intentional or simply an optical illusion.

In AirSpace's cutaway gallery users can find a whole range of newly uploaded drawings including military and civil helicopters and business aircraft.

In the DEW Line Stephen Trimble blogs about the Joint Cargo Aircraft (JCA) programme which he says is "just confusing aircraft" programme.

The confusion now focuses on Boeing's always-mercurial role in the L-3 Communications/Alenia Aeronautica partnership that's supplying the C-27J to the US Army.

Time is ticking and you have until 20 June to vote for your 100 Greatest on AirSpace to be in with a chance to win a Sony Camcorder.

The winning civil and military aircraft, engine, person and moment in aviation will be announced at the Farnborough air show as part of Flight's 100th year in publishing celebrations.
