FlightBlogger shot a video of Boeing's new mock up of the 737 Sky Interior demonstrating new LED lighting transitions in the cabin and shows the comparison between LED and fluorescent bulbs currently in use on 737s. "The video captures accurately what you as a passenger would see on board", FlightBlogger says.

Stephen Trimble writes a post on The DEW Line about the emerging importance of social media in reporting the news. He says: "Boeing didn't tip off reporters about the P-8A first flight event in Seattle, but they didn't have to. [A] Tweet alerted anyone paying attention on Twitter 10 hours before the T-1 test aircraft got airborne. The same Tweet-er also was the first person in any medium to post a picture of the first flight. That was soon followed by video footage from multiple angles posted on You Tube."
John Croft encourages you to listen to the conversations between New York approach controllers and pilots of the presidential VC-25 (Boeing 747-200) that performed what can best be described as an airshow routine over Lower Manhattan in New York City last week. The conversations are in stark contrast to the panic that gripped the uninformed citizens.
Week on the Web is also available as an audio podcast on AirSpace and iTunes.
