RAF Tornado GR4 in flight.jpgSee video evidence of an aircraft crash in the Republic of Congo, which identifies an Antonov An-12 freighter showing how it performed an inverted roll before impact.

The video appears to show exhaust trails coming only from the two port engines. Another video show an Alrosa Tupolev Tu-154 departing from an airfield following initial repair work six months after an emergency landing left the aircraft stranded.

Additionally the video shows computer graphic to reconstruct the crash landing off the runway.

As the crisis in Libya takes hold, we've built a dedicated page housing all the latest news, videos, blogs, Twitter and images including this RAF Tornado GR4 taking off from RAF Marham.

A FlightBlogger post showcases three videos of a 787 test aircraft performing a touch and go and two low passes at Paine Field before the 747-8I first flight.

It may have appeared to be a warm up act but in fact the lead 787 test aircraft was conducting autolands for FAA certification credit.

British Airways has fumigated two Boeing 747s after a passenger was allegedly bitten by bed bugs 90 times during a flight, writes Mary Kirby in her blog Runway Girl.

She says this is an issue faced by airlines all over the world especially because they love to travel. In the post Runway Girl highlights advice upon finding the little mites which could save you $2000-$5000 in fumigation fees.

Watch a great video of a Qantas Boeing 747 taking off just 100 meters away from the chalet row at AVALON. Amusingly, the grass was recently cut, so the engines blew grass over the entire crowd including several Flightglobal colleagues.

See the front cover of Flight magazine 100 years ago, this week, which shows an image of a Farnham biplane upsetting the pigeons of St Mark's Square, Venice. And there's a great image of a the F8F Bearcat owned by Historic Flight Foundation at Paine Field, Everett, from the 2010 Vintage Aircraft Weekend and uploaded by AirSpace user Vintage Racer.
