We are getting ready for the upcoming Farnborough Air Show. It is always a great place to feel the pulse of the aviation industry and get a glimpse of where it is heading to.

But if the present was yesterday's "future", how did visitors of past editions of the Farnborough Air Show see the future of aviation?

Fortunately, we do have some clues...as Flightglobal's historical archive goes as far back as 1909, we have been able to uncover some really interesting materials from Farnborough's past...enjoy! (and remember you can always get many more on our free-access archive!)
