The DEW Line carried Norwegian defence ministry footage of "a stunningly liveried F-16AM fighter strutting its stuff over and around the nation's beautiful capital, Oslo" ahead of military aviation centenary celebrations.

Onboard video of the Vulcan to the Sky Trust's XH558 in action at the Royal International Air Tattoo could be viewed in another post on the defence blog. "Don't be put off by the awful opening muzak," wrote Craig Hoyle. "That only lasts for a few seconds, and then you get to hear nothing but the faint noise from the Rolls-Royce Olympus quartet."

AirTanker's shot of the sixth Airbus A330 to enter conversion for the UK's Voyager programme (below) also featured in the blog's lively week, as did a US display of the Eurocopter X3.

Six 560-thumb-560x384-161147.jpgAnd Greg Waldron found a clip of an RAC MiG-29KUB test-flying from Russian carrier Admiral Kuznetsov, for Asian Skies.
