We've been listening to customer feedback and have made improvements to the site speed, navigation and usability.
We've just released the first wave of improvements with further enhancements to content and design throughout 2013.
The navigation of Flightglobal Pro is now separate to our corporate website, Flightglobal.com.
This change will help you find Pro content more quickly and easily.
Five sections now signpost the key elements of Pro, providing the starting point to the main tasks most Pro users undertake each day.
This is the same 'Dashboard' page that you will be familiar with, with quick links into News, Profile Search, Fleet Search, and Route Search, as well as links to other Pro modules, support services and other useful content.
The News section lists all the latest news articles and analysis, and allows you to filter and search the news by topic and keywords. Enhancements to this section include the ability to access articles directly from Pro, the ability to go back to news search results from an article page, and the ability to launch single article booklets (as a 'lightbox').
The new Profiles section introduces a new profile search function. This brings together the Airline, Airports & MRO Company profiles into one set of results. You can search all profiles or filter settings to focus their search results on one particular group of profiles.
The Fleets section offers comprehensive search options for searching the Flightglobal Pro database of airlines based on their fleet makeup.
The introduction of a Networks section to Pro brings together all the relevant content and functions provided by Flightglobal for network and route development. There's a focused list of routes news articles, and a quick route search tool. If you already have a valid subscription, there's one-click access to other more advanced network, route map, and capacity analysis tools. If you're interested in finding out more about these additional services you can follow the 'Find out more' link display on the Networks page.
Improved Access to News Articles
Accessing articles on Pro is now a more straightforward process. Pro articles will open up in the same browser tab and you will remain within the new Pro interface (as opposed to opening up in a new tab and within the News section of Flightglobal.com News).
This will save you time when viewing news articles, and reduce the confusion caused by mixed navigation. Contextual profile linking In order to save you time when researching airlines and airports, we've introduced automatic links within our news articles that allow you to seamlessly move through to profiles of airlines and airports.
Easy Access to all Flightglobal Premium Services
If you have a subscription to more than one of Flightglobal's premium services (Pro, Ascend Online Fleets, Ascend Online Values and Aviation Exchange), you will be able to access all services through one single access point.
The sign in system will recognise your subscription details and allow you to pick the service you wish to use. All of these improvements are designed to make using Flightglobal Pro a quicker and more intuitive experience.
In addition to these changes, we have a pipeline of further enhancements and investments in our Pro services currently in development that will provide additional value to your subscription.
If you experience any issues accessing Flightglobal Pro or Ascend Online subscriptions - i.e. you can't access a subscription that you should be able to - please email email@example.com.
