Frog In Aircraft Window

A passenger on a Turkish Airlines’ Airbus A320 from Moscow to Istanbul in July found a frog perched on an aircraft window. He took this picture before it quickly jumped away.

After landing at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, staff at THY Technic went in search of the passenger’s amphibean friend. All side walls of the aircraft were released but the frog was eventually found dead probably due to high cabin pressure and dry air.
The aircraft’s journey before the Istanbul-Moscow flight, was from Adana, a large city in the southern Mediterranean region of Turkey where, apparently, tons of live frogs are sent to Japan and China to star in restaurant menus!
