The best aviation-related New Year's Eve Party venue?

Flightglobal's not aversed to celebrating the the New Year with a glass of Sherry or two but where does one go to see in the New Year in style? Maybe a dinner party on an A380 "Flying Palace"? Or a Qantas First Class Airport Lounge (they won this year's World Airline Awards award in that category)

But just for the nostalgia, a few cocktails on-board this Super Connie Bar would come top of the list for us.

superconnie bar.jpgInterestingly, the bar no longer exists as The Museum of Flight in Seattle bought the aircraft from a Canadian called Catherine Scott, with plans to restore it (not to flight unfortunately) and exhibit it at the Museum of Flight in Seattle. You can read all about it here ... and there are loads of pics here for people interested in the move and the restoration ...
