Flightglobal's not aversed to celebrating the the New Year with a glass of Sherry or two but where does one go to see in the New Year in style? Maybe a dinner party on an A380 "Flying Palace"? Or a Qantas First Class Airport Lounge (they won this year's World Airline Awards award in that category)
But just for the nostalgia, a few cocktails on-board this Super Connie Bar would come top of the list for us.
Interestingly, the bar no longer exists as The Museum of Flight in Seattle bought the aircraft from a Canadian called Catherine Scott, with plans to restore it (not to flight unfortunately) and exhibit it at the Museum of Flight in Seattle.
