Pictured is a Boeing C-17 (well, several, but you have to really look) shrouded in mist on the runway at McGuire AFB, New Jersey, last week. The US east coast was deluged by the remnants of Tropical Storm Lee with heavy rainfall and flooding. For those wondering why there's a P-38 Lightning on the tail, according to google, McGuire AFB is named after a World War II ace who flew P-38s, hence the tail flash on McGuire-based C-17s.
