Boeing's newest in-service type, the 787, has landed at the Dubai Airport Expo in preparation for this year's Dubai air show.
This year's event will be the last at the current venue, but a strong international turnout will ensure it departs on a high. Organisers of the Dubai air show are forecasting that the biennial event will this year host around 55,000 trade visitors and 1,000 exhibitors- respectively up 6% and 12% from the 2009 show.
As well as the 787, there will also be a debut Dubai appearance for another eye-catching design from Boeing - Bell Boeing's MV-22 tilt-rotor - as well as for United Arab Emirates' Al-Fursan display team.
