The news that the US Air Force has decided not to select the Hawker Beechcraft AT-6 Texan II for its light air support contest has been met, as you might expect, with howls of protest from the Witchita airframer. However, it does give us the opportunity to use this splendid picture of an AT-6 during recent tests of guided munitions.
