Queen of the skies takes flight

To accompany this lovely picture posted on our AirSpace gallery, here’s the accompanying caption from contributor EnoAeroPics: “The sun finally broke through in the late afternoon of 7 November 2012 when Boeing 747-406BC c/n 30455 (l/n 1302) PH-BFY “City of Johannesburg” of KLM lifted off runway 06-24 at Schiphol Amsterdam airport. The aircraft first flew on 30 March 2002 as N6005C and  was delivered to KLM on 10 April 2002.” More of their images here.
