“Just Jane” awaits her next mission


A great image from AirSpace user andyxh558 of the NX611  ‘Just Jane‘ Avro Lancaster,  sat under the moody skies of East Kirkby at the Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage Centre.

Speculation suggests this aircraft will undergo a full restoration to fly again in the coming years and what a fantastic possibility of seeing two Lancaster’s flying again.

    Or even three – the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum have been in the air for years with C-GVRA

    Hi Scoreboard. I think its meant to be flying together. on the other hand if we could get the Canadian one over here too. well that would be really something to see. Hoping Peter Jackson needs them for the new Dambusters film…
