In a move that might at first seem a tad churlish, but on reflection is perfectly understandable, British Airways has all but eradicated rival Virgin Atlantic and its founder Sir Richard Branson from in-flight showings of hit Bond movie Casino Royale. I mean, it's a competitive world out there, and who wants to advertise one who you consider to be an arch villan on your own little screens?
Reports show that Branson, who had a cameo role in the film, and his airline, which had a deal with the Bond producers to use a Virgin plane in a chase sequence, were edited out. Tut tut.
To be honest, the edited BA version is only worth watching if you are really desperate. Plenty of other parts are edited as well. The gruesome tortune scene for example.
Branson has popped up in several TV shows and films over the years - we like him for that.
Now, Mr Walsh, what about you? We know you are a man of many talents - which cameo roles might suit you?
