Steven Udvar-Hazy has done quite a bit of shopping here at Farnborough, placing firm orders for 115 aircraft, including an intriguing deal for 10 ATR 72-600 turboprops.
He's bullish about the -600's fuel efficiency and its ability to operate from airports not suited to larger jets.
While covering the ATR deal I juggled my pen and paper and snapped a couple of photos of Hazy, and ATR CEO Filippo Bagnato.
