… But don’t get too excited.
Rather than revealing what’s been rumoured to be a remaking of the G450 business jet, or better yet a supersonic chariot (as seen below in a patent application by the company)
… the revelation, unfortunately, is likely to be more mundane.
“It’s not a new aircraft announcement,” my media contact told me just a few minutes ago.
The Savannah Morning News reported earlier today that Savannah Airport Commission yesterday had voted unanimously to lease 159ac of land to Gulfstream for “Project X”.
“Meanwhile, Gulfstream has invited a host of dignitaries and media to its Savannah headquarters Monday for a ‘major announcement’,” writes Mary Carr Mayle of the paper.
My contact confirmed that there will be an event Monday morning, with Gulfstream employees and some politicians in attendance, with a press release issued to the public at 10am.
As to what would be considered a “major announcement”? We’ll have to wait and see.
