I thought I got upset once when I missed a flight but this lady takes the cake. She missed her flight at Hong Kong International Airport and her breakdown is now a Youtube hit. It's all in Cantonese but even if you don't understand what she's saying you'll get the message.

So let me get this right Cathay has either decided to film the event rather find out what's wrong, or they are now letting random passengers wander behind the counter!!!

Indeed the video does appear to have been shot from behind the staff counter but for the record Cathay's spokeswoman told the AFP newswire: "We do not know who shot the video or who posted it on the web."

this is just proof that some people should take the bus!!!

the poor guy that’s married to her

That's happening everyday in HKIA. CX & KA normally closing their boarding gate ~10mins before the departure time but many local chinese did arrival 1-2mins before the departure time.

At the start of the video, two airport security persons passed the lady after they finished their per-flight check duty, and it shows the Automated Boarding Control (ABC) system is a CX version. This event possible involved a CX's flight to US or Australia departure at HKIA Gate 41.

You're right, it was a Cathay flight to San Francisco on 4 Feb, according to reports quoting CX

If she were doing this in YVR, she would probably be tasered...
