The Gulfstream G650 cabin, which I had the chance to view yesterday, is one of the most striking interiors I have seen on a large business jet. Like all concept cabins, it is packed with gizmos and features, and in many ways is unlike the slightly conservative, walnut and tan leather environment common to most Gulfstreams when more than eight in 10 of the Savannah company's products were sold to US corporate customers. It has a much cleaner, "European" feel with the sort of fittings you might find in a trendy boutique hotel. One feature has not changed though - the classic Gulfstream oval windows. For some, the oval windows give Gulfstream's an old-fashioned feel. But these are 16% bigger and throw a lot of light into the interior.
