IAI recently completed a series of demonstrations of its Laser Homing Attack missiles, launched from helicopters. LAHAT is an accurate, lightweight missile that can be adapted to almost all helicopter types, adds Egozi. On the Airline Business blog, Edward Russell examines JetBlue Airways’ new premium product, Mint, and questions whether the service can ever be a success given the hefty competition on the US routes where it will be deployed. “The premium market is saturated with specialised products on all of the heavyweights of transcontinental flying,” he says.
