Ever eager to find new and interesting videos, I discovered this little gem of a radio controlled aircraft flying over NASA's US Space and Rocket Centre in Huntsville, Alabama.
It's a topical find considering the UK had its wrists slapped for it's aversion to sending humans into space.
Prof Frank Close, University of Oxford and chairman of Space Exploration Working Group (SEWG), suggests in a report that Britain needs to prepare to launch its first astronaut as early as 2012.
Not to be outdone by France which has a manned programme, he says: "The UK has had a great tradition in exploration over the centuries but it is now time for a new vision."
Professor Close said that every country in the G8 club of rich nations – except Britain – now has a manned space programme and that it is no longer good enough for the UK to rely on robotic explorers to send to the Moon, Mars and beyond.
In case the British government fears the cost, Prof Close reassures that the increased cost of funding human space exploration would be partly paid back through inspiring interest among young people in science and engineering.
