Trawling the newspapers this morning I discovered that somewhere out there, a little Westie Stanley travels about, not on four legs but a makeshift Spitfire.
Owners Phil and Sharon Cook, both aged 40 - so surely ought to know better, mocked up the miniature aircraft out of a skateboard and a sports bag, for a Hallowe'en party.
Stanley, poor pooch, doesn't look in the slightest bit scary. Perhaps his owners should rent out a couple of horror dvds to understand the genre a bit better.
