From crashes to low flying to first flights, this year has been packed full of incident, much of which has been captured on video. Here is a top ten list of the most popular:
1. TAP Airbus A310 causing a stir!!
A TAP Airbus A310 caused a stir at Portugal's Evora (LPEV) air show when it appeared turn at a dangerously low altitude during a fly past.
The A310 is seen to barely clear the ground with its wing tips as it banks following a low fly past.
2. Drug smugglers shot down in Amazon jungle
This video shows drug smugglers being shot down over the Colombian Amazon jungle.
The Colombian air force had been trailing the drug smugglers in an Embraer Super Tucano, which is used to patrol borders, among other missions.
3. Crazy landings in St Maarten
Flightglobal.com showcases a video of a series of landings at St Maarten in the Netherlands Antilles, the third of which is a KLM Boeing 747 that surprisingly leaves the airport link fence intact as it lands.
4.F-22A flight demonstration routine

5. China Airlines Boeing 737-800 nearly runs off runway
A China Airlines (CAL) Boeing 737-800 nearly ran off the end of a runway on takeoff in southern Japan on 5 October.
The aircraft only got airborne at the end of the runway and the main landing gear appears to have hit something on the ground as it took off, according to television footage taken at the scene.

Footage of the A380 evacuation trial is available for the first time since it took place back in March, 2006.
7. CAL plane destroyed in a fire
AChina Airlines (CAL) Boeing 737-800 has been destroyed in a fire after landing at Naha airport in southern Japan this morning (20 August).
8. Boeing KC-135 tanker in the desert
A video clip posted on a French video sharing site of a Boeing KC-135 tanker flying at around 10ft (3m) altitude over a patch of desert has caused confusion over the location of its filming (below).
9. Iberia A340-600 skids off runway
Flight's interactive community site - AirSpace is running a video of the Iberia A340-600 which skidded off the runway while landing at Ecuador's Quito International Airport on 9 November.
10. Avro RJ100 moved from London Airport
Swiss International Air Lines and its insurers have decided to repair the BAE Systems Avro RJ100 which was heavily damaged in a hard landing incident at London City airport last month.
