I thought I'd seen it all but I clearly haven't. I was taking an interest in Paul Gladman's Image of the Day Blog when I spotted a very unusual aircraft type - the Caspian Sea Monster.
Goose nominated it as one of the ugliest aircraft in the AirSpace forums.
Gladman tells me that it is a concept that has had potential mainly in military application, it's a faster hovercraft that rides on the cushion of air.
