Leave it up to our idiot military to keep spending billions to fight a few rag tag terrorists. I guess they have to justifly their existence like they did in Korea, vietnam, Iraq and now afganistan. All of which we they lost. Our military budget is more than all the rest of the world combined. Its time to cut them off by at least 80%. I am a retired 70 year old business man who has watched this nonsense all my life. The military keeps feeding us this bullshit about our freedom but there has not been a threat for over 50 years and there is no threat now.

    Wise up folks.

What a Dumbo. If you had attended all of the 3rd grade you would KNOW that the military gos to wherever their country sends them.

Seems like an excellent way to keep from getting our kids blown up. And it ain’t the military who want these wars – we’d rather see the State Department freed to do their jobs – it’s those Republicans at your country club – you know, the ones who sport the big American flags on their lapels, own “defense contractor” companies, hold out their hands to Hank Greenberg, and cheat on their income taxes – who are propelling us to places we don’t want to go.

Hope your command of business is better than your command of current affairs and of history.

It appears, that in his 70 years, Mr. Stuve’s memory banks have been delapidated by the disease of liberalism.

So 911 did not constitute a ‘threat’?

    Where the hell were you?
