Max Kingsley Jones, Flight International’s deputy editor, took this footage of Airbus A380 parts as they were moved to Toulouse last week.
This video shows the ridiculousness of carrying large and very expensive parts through a small village.

Airbus A380, Toulouse
I thought this admittedly cumbersome operation was temporary, until a full by-pass road had been built – it may be partly open, but not yet complete. It certainly featured in plans published quite a while ago – any news on this ???
Thanks for posting,
you may think it’s ridiculous but it have been like this since airbus are being built in Toulouse, of course the A380 is bigger than the previous one but in France we see this as a demonstration of our will.
