Paris Air Show 2009: Welcome to a wet Paris

The 100th Paris Air Show is underway and when dodging the rain, Flightglobal’s crack team of journalists are buzzing away to bring you the latest news, images and video from the event.

We already have two Paris galleries set up, one showcasing thesignificant history of the show in our archive gallery and the other showing over 170 images from 2007′s show.

Excitingly, for those attending the show, this year for the first time we arealso giving you the chance to get your Paris pictures into FlightInternational magazine. For the chance to get your Paris imagesprofiled, simply upload them to this gallery (click on the uploadbutton on the bottom right of this page) and we will choose the bestimages for the 30th June issue of the magazine. (closing date is the 22nd June, the Judges’ decision is final).

    I don’t know if i read this correctly but on 17/6/09 under Flightglobal headline ‘PARIS AIR SHOW:Vulcan returns to the airshow circuit’.The following appeared….”The Vulcan, which was the star of last year’s Farnborough air show after a £700 million, 15-year restoration”.That’s an awful lot of money for one aircraft!
