Well, it would be amusing if it were not for the psychological effect the NYT article had upon Goddard; turning him into a secretive recluse unwilling to share his Scientific findings and Engineering knowledge with anybody. Why America was forced to import Werner Von Braun to get ahead in the Rocket business. Such foresight, not to mention crackerjack understanding of Scientific theory...
