Video: Boeing 747-200F vs Porsche 911 GT3 in a drag race

Although not in one of my all time must see races (number one at the moment would be Usain Bolt against a Cheetah vs a Sea Lion  in a 100 metre dash) this one was certainly entertaining.

Organised by the Changi Airport Group to celebrate the start of the Singapore F1 Grand Prix season, the event involved the Porsche 911 being positioned 200 metres behind the jetliner in a 1.7km race. You can probably guess who wins...

Ah, but now let the Porsche try staying airborne for a couple of hours AND let them serve drinks and hot food during the movie :D

Wasn't there a similar event with a Boeing 777 and a Ferrari race car?

Of course the Ferrari would win for the takeoff roll.
How about the inflight challenge like Marco van Lieshout said, or maybe a fast and low fly-by? :P

I'd like to race that Porsche...
In a Saab.. Gripen.. ;-)
The Swede would win ofcourse...
