On 6 December SAS flight SK903 from Stockholm to New York will see the A340-300′s 32-seat business class converted to a banquet hall for what SAS pitches as the world’s first in-flight same-sex marriage. The lucky punters? They’re not yet determined as SAS is holding a competition for US partners to nominate themselves and then garner votes. The winners receive flights to Stockholm (Sweden legalised same-sex marriage last year) as well as Los Angeles and accommodation in New York.

You can track the progress of entrants and find out more here.
