The Olympic flame flying to the UK on BA’s Firefly

The upcoming London Olympics have provided a greatopportunity to British Airways to get creative with aircraft liveries. If afew weeks ago the “Dove” was unveiled, it is now the turn of the “Firefly”, theAirbus A319 that will fly the Olympic flame from Athensto London.

Firefly’s special livery has required 9 days of work and 250litres of gold, white and yellow paint. Its name was chosen in a competition inwhich students across the UKparticipated.
