Thomson’s forthcoming Dreamliner takes center stage

The tourism industry is built on the idea of selling dreams, Thomson goes one step further and sells you the “Dreamliner” experience with its latest TV ad.

The British leisure carrier is going to get its first Boeing 787, that it plans to deploy on routes from Gatwick, Machester, East Midlands and Glasgow to Cancun and Florida.

Thomson has used the Dreamliner’s entry into service as a marketing opportunity, and not only on TV: this summer is also launched a Twitter campaign (#nameourplane) to have its first Dreamliner named.
